Assessment

In response to the need to better understand the impact of climate change on water resources in the Arab region, ESCWA coordination of the Regional Initiative for the Assessment of Climate Change Impacts on Water Resources and Socio-Economic Vulnerability in the Arab Region (RICCAR) has resulted in the first Arab Climate Change Assessment Report, which provides a scientific basis for informing climate change policy and priority setting through a region-specific geospatial integrated assessment methodology.

All findings and datasets are available on a dedicated regional initiative, which provides easy access to all outputs stemming from the assessment.
