On 19 October, on the sidelines of the 2020 Cairo Water Week, the Technical Secretariat of the Joint Arab Ministerial Council for Water and Agriculture in the League of Arab States organized the second meeting of the High-level Joint Committee for Water and Agriculture, in cooperation with FAO RNE and ESCWA.
The Committee followed up on the implementation of the first meeting recommendations and discussed the draft action plan 2021-2025 to activate the 2019 Cairo Declaration.
ESCWA stressed on its support to Arab countries, through its programme of work, in the implementation of the final action plan and its activation at the national and regional levels.
