On 17 August, ESCWA and the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technology (MTIT) in Palestine tackled in a virtual workshop the main concepts of digital government transformation along with selected international and regional indicators.
Representatives from public institutions involved in the development and implementation of digital policies learned about appropriate governance mechanisms to improve digital services and reduce bureaucracy. They discussed the best practices in digital transformation governance and change management.
The workshop showcased national related initiatives from MTIT and other ministries, and highlighted the main concepts of digital transformation in government and its impact on development.
