On 21 December, ESCWA held a meeting on the future of work in Arab countries. Experts from the region and the world discussed a methodological framework proposed by ESCWA to build its Job Monitor.
The meeting also included a tour of the demo Job Monitor, a web application that displays collected employment data from the region and proposed analyses.
The ESCWA Job Monitor is aimed at helping member States prepare better for the 4th Industrial Revolution and assess the number of jobs needed to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
