Since its launch in early October, the ICC-ESCWA Centre of Entrepreneurship has been building an online space and programme to support young entrepreneurs in the Arab region, especially in Lebanon.
Under the title “How to Inspire Future Entrepreneurs in the Arab Region”, ESCWA and the International Chamber of Commerce held the Centre’s first interactive community workshop on 20 November.
The workshop featured opening remarks from ESCWA Executive Secretary Rola Dashti and ICC Secretary General John Denton. Three speakers then took the floor to discuss the challenges they faced in the Arab business environment and how they overcame them. At the end, all participants intervened in an interactive session and shared their insights and experiences.
