As part of the series of expert meetings on enriching mechanisms for assessing and advancing digital development, ESCWA is organizing the first consultative experts meeting on digital technologies and pressing issues from the 2030 Agenda.
The meeting is aimed at highlighting the expertise of keynote speakers and multi-stakeholder participants in selected sustainable development-related themes to explore new dimensions related to the intersection between digital technology policies and uses and selected pressing challenges from the 2030 Agenda that are of high priority to the Arab region, namely in the areas of environment, climate change and natural resources sustainability. The meeting is intended to crystallize the relevant goals and targets to be included in the upgraded digital development conceptual framework, toolkits and documents, as well in the second edition of the Arab Digital Agenda.
