ESCWA and the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), with support from the government of Sweden, are organizing a series of interregional dialogues on transboundary Sand and Dust Storm (SDS) challenges in Western Asia, in alignment with the Regional Plan of Action on SDS in Asia and the Pacific.
The dialogue series provides a platform for senior government officials to address shared SDS challenges, identify knowledge gaps, and develop joint actions.
