The Arab Trade Simulation Interface (ATSI) is part of the simulation tools package ESCWA is developing to support decision-makers in structuring trade policies. The aim is to achieve greater competitiveness and integration in the global economy through the quantitative evaluation of trade policy options prior to their implementation. ESCWA has started since 2023 developing national tailored versions for its member States taking into consideration their specific needs in terms of data updating, regional and sectoral disaggregation, and policy instruments. National workshops, including preparatory meetings and training workshops, are organized in:
