ESCWA is organizing the second regional training on measuring progress towards Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG 16) indicators in Africa, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme; the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime; the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights; the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization; the United Nations Children's Fund; and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.
The training includes webinars aimed at equipping participants with concepts, technical guidelines and methodological tools to measure the SDG 16 indicators. It also features national experiences on data collection, analysis and dissemination of relevant indicators.
