On 23 January, ESCWA organized a webinar to present and discuss the best practices and lessons learned from implementing the integrated business model of the Regional Initiative to Promote Small-Scale Renewable Energy Applications in Rural Areas of the Arab Region (REGEND).
Beneficiaries and partners of REGEND shared their experiences from the field, highlighting the impacts of this business model, as well as the challenges that were addressed and those that require further consideration.
The discussions and ideas exchanged will feed into a Best Practices Policy Toolkit developed by ESCWA on REGEND.
