On 23 April, as part of the “ESCWA Stories” project, a delegation from the Mekhitarist Fathers School, visited the UN House in Beirut with the aim of strengthening cooperation with ESCWA in raising future generations on the principles of peace and justice. The meeting included the planting of an olive tree in the garden of the organization.
In the same context, students from Makassed Abi Baker El Siddeeq School and AZM School completed a “Cyber Heroes” training session, designed and delivered by Deloitte, and facilitated by ESCWA. The training covered topics related to online safety, cyberbullying and identity theft in a fun and interactive way.
The “ESCWA Stories” project, which the organization is implementing with 18 schools in Lebanon, aims to educate students about the Sustainable Development Goals.
