From 30 May to 2 June, ESCWA and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in Jordan organized four consultation workshops on "Review of e-Transaction Law in Jordan.”
ESCWA provided technical assistance in reviewing the current e-Transaction law (issued in 2015) to update it to be more compatible with digital transformation requirements.
Participants discussed current challenges impeding the implementation of digital transformation, in addition to issues related to digital certification, e-Signature, and user authentication.
