On 26 August, ESCWA and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency-Energy Transition Facility (ETF) jointly hosted the “Get Connected to E-Mobility!” webinar, which highlighted the critical role of e-mobility (or electro mobility) in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and climate ambitions.
During a session entitled “Setting the scene for e-mobility”, ESCWA advocated for the use of electric powered technologies to transition towards sustainable transport and reduce the sector’s carbon footprint.
Representatives from ESCWA member States discussed challenges and efforts aimed at adopting clean energy and e-mobility at the national level.
