The National Disability Agency in Somalia is organizing a workshop to validate the Somali National Strategy for Persons with Disabilities (2025-2028), developed by the Agency, with technical support from ESCWA, in cooperation with various stakeholders in Somalia, including organizations of persons with disabilities, and funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
The Somali National Disability Strategy 2025–2028 outlines a comprehensive framework aimed at addressing the rights and needs of persons with disabilities, ensuring their full participation as equal members of society. This strategy embodies the national aspirations to promote respect, inclusivity and equality for all, especially for persons with disabilities.
