Within REGEND's series of awareness-raising workshops in Tunisia, ESCWA is organizing a workshop in Sidi Aloaune, Governorate of Mahdia, Tunisia for rural women and young people on the water-energy-food nexus (WEF nexus) and green jobs.
This workshop seeks to inform participants about the interlinkages between the WEF nexus and climate change, agriculture, rural development, and women empowerment. It also introduces participants to the challenges in the water and energy sectors in Tunisia in general, and in Sidi Alouane in particular.
