ESCWA, in collaboration with the General Delegation for Regional Development (CGDR) and the National Agency for Energy Conservation (ANME) in Tunisia, is organizing a series of awareness-raising workshops for rural women and young people on the interlinkage between water, energy and food (WEF nexus), and its relation to green jobs.
Rural women and young people interested in green jobs in Mahdia Governorate in Tunisia are provided with the opportunity to discuss the WEF nexus in rural context, and to gain a comprehensive understanding of its applications and challenges.
This series of workshops is being organized within the framework of the Regional Initiative to Promote Small-Scale Renewable Energy Applications in Rural Areas of the Arab Region (REGEND), and is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
